With the recent boom in big data analysis and evidence-based medical treatment analysis, data stored in these servers can be used on a never before seen scale to further develop medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes all over the world. POC-IT offers a platform that not only integrates community health networks but also offers an intuitive website where providers can monitor and track their patient’s perioperative care. POC-IT will soon also allow for real-time data trend analysis of patient outcomes based on factors such as geographic locations or if patients did or did not receive a specific treatment. Importantly, POC-IT is supported by a FireBase database that not only offers real-time cloud connectivity but also offers strong cybersecurity for protected health information through Google.
